What is PUR edge banding material?
PUR in the full name is Polyurethane Reactive, its mechanism is the reaction of polyurethane prepolymer and moisture in the air, forming a stable chemical structure. It has extremely strong adhesion, high cold resistance, and heat resistance, so it has a long preservation time.
The price of PUR adhesive is much higher than the EVA adhesive, but the amount of glue used will be about 1 times less, and the glue line is less obvious. Once the PUR adhesive has reacted, it is irreversible and will not soften at high temperatures like EVA adhesive. PUR edge sealing equipment is now popular use, which makes the overall cost still falling.
